...is a three-story home in Truckee, CA (Climate Zone 4B), designed to meet Phius CORE 2021. Intended for a retired couple, the house accommodates six bedrooms within a compact 24'x24' conditioned footprint. A mudroom and attached garage sit on the ground level, with two required parking spaces.

Set on a wooded plateau with eastern views of Lake Tahoe, the design maximizes sightlines while responding to a shaded horizon. High-performance insulation, ventilation, and glazing ensure comfort and energy efficiency year-round.Project Type: Passive House Proposal
